it's not by chance that zero is
the symbol used for nought
it seems to me it came to be
from someone's deepest thought

zero, is the symbol used
when numbers there are none
whereas the whole, is represented
by the symbol known as one

the zero symbol is a circle
no beginning and no end
which signifies eternity
this we know and comprehend

as a circle, all encompassing
a whole it does become
so as a singularity
it clearly now is one

and so it stands to reason
that the sum of one and none
is the ultimate reality
and zero equals one!
